Next Tuff Stuff Series Looking For Your Top 3 Collectibles

With the Olympics just a couple weeks away, Tuff Stuff decided to pay tribute to our Olympic athletes with it’s next reader-generated series. While every collector has a few favorites in his/her collections, the reasons behind why they’re atop your list can be as interesting as the pieces themselves. Whether its the card your older brother gave you before he left for his duty in the service or the signed photo of your favorite athlete, these items and the stories behind them are at the very essence of why we collect in the first place. Our next series, titled "Gold-Medal Collectors" ask readers to submit short stories (few paragraphs) detailing the top three collectibles in their collections. The stories should include a bronze medalist, a silver medalist and a gold medalist representing the favorite piece in their collection. The reasons behind your rankings will vary from collector to collector. Some will represent their favorites because of sentimental reasons, others will focus on monetary values and others will pick items that represent their favorite teams and players. The best submissions will be included in the series (which kicks off in the April issue) and the best overall submission that details the collectors Gold, Silver and Bronze collectibles the best will win two boxes of cards and two autographed 8-by-10 photos.
