Mounted Memories unveils new Chicago Blackhawks memorabilia

Mounted Memories, the sports memorabilia manufacturing division of Dreams, Inc., scored a major victory with its debut of a one-of-a-kind shadowbox. To commemorate the remarkable victory by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2010 Stanley Cup Final, Mounted Memories has created unique memorabilia that includes magical photography of the series’ highlights, and also features ice from the Stanley Cup final.

“This is a new product from our innovative line of memorabilia,” said Mitch Adelstein, company president. “As an NHL licensee, we worked closely with the National Hockey League who was supportive and cooperative with our needs, and we captured portions of the ice from the arena. Our designers created an exciting way for hockey fans to recall this victory for which Chicago fans waited almost half a century.”

Only 2,010 units of this specially designed piece will be available, to signify the year of the Chicago Blackhawks’ triumph. “For Chicago, this is an amazing moment – and hockey fans all over the country understand the significance of this victory after a nearly 50 year wait,” said Adelstein. “We are proud that Mounted Memories has once again been able to deliver to the marketplace creative and meaningful memorabilia that give fans a way to celebrate and remember milestones in sports.”

Based in South Florida, Dreams, Inc. recognized the national fascination with the Blackhawks, and was ready to provide fans with a wonderful assortment of products that fans adored through multiple distribution channels. The company is especially active in Chicago, where the town is ecstatic over the victory. The six Chicago-based FansEdge stores, the brick-and-mortar sites of Dreams’ internet retail division, are reporting impressive sales of Blackhawks products. Also, several Blackhawks superstars, including forward Marian Hossa, will be appearing at our Field of Dreams store at the Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg tonight, with other high-profile Blackhawks appearing throughout the weekend. In addition, Dreams has signed many of the top players from the Blackhawks, and a wide array of autographed photos, pucks and other items are available – and rapidly disappearing from the shelves!

Adelstein said that the demand for Blackhawks items is not abating. Even a week after the series ended, the FansEdge internet division of Dreams, reports that sales of Blackhawks items are still going strong, and have eclipsed sales from the Pittsburgh Penguins victory six times over, and have sold more than eight times the volume of Red Wings memorabilia. In fact, Blackhawks sales figures have already surpassed 2009 Yankees World Series sales numbers.
