Candace Parker is one of 18 rookies featured in this year’s WNBA trading card product from Rittenhouse Archives. All of the rookie cards are sequentially numbered to 444. In addition, Parker is one of five rookies who have signed autographs for the set.
The first-year player has already established a league record for rookies with 40 points in a game, and her inclusion in the product has sales “well ahead of last year’s pace,” according to Rittenhouse President Steve Charendoff, who added Parker has a chance to accomplish a rare feat in any pro sports league – being named the Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Player in the same season.
Dealers and distributors who order 12 cases of the product will receive a WNBA Trading Cards Archives box that includes a full set of the rookie cards.
