(June 3, 2006) — Mounted Memories has announced the launch of its Super Bowl MVP memorabilia product line, which includes all 35 living Super Bowl MVPs signatures on pewter Super Bowl XL Pro-Line helmets, Super Bowl XL Pro-Line helmets and art prints. This is the first time that all 35 MVPs have signed any product and every Super Bowl is represented. Deceased Super Bowl XII MVP Harvey White shared the honor with Randy White, the only year with co-MVPs.
“We are thrilled to present this exclusive item to the public,” said Mitch Adelstein, president of Mounted Memories. “This is the first complete series of Super Bowl MVP signatures ever produced and with the limited number of product available, it’s an investment as much as it is a collector’s item.”
The project, which took place from February until late May, involved the company driving the products to seven states across the country for each signing, starting in Pennsylvania and ending in Nevada. The first signature was Hines Ward and the last signature was Joe Montana.
“This project was truly a labor of love,” added Adelstein. “These 35 players are some of the best the sport has to offer and having all of them sign these exclusive products was one of the most amazing accomplishments in Mounted Memories history.”
There are 40 pewter Super Bowl XL Pro-Line helmets available, sold exclusively in Field of Dreams stores across the country; 120 Super Bowl XL Pro-Line helmets and 40 art prints. The Super Bowl XL Pro-Line helmets and art prints are available at Mounted Memories’ sister companies, www.prosportsmemorabilia.com and www.fansedge.com.
Retail prices for each product range from $12,000 to $15,000 and every product comes with a Mounted Memories hologram and number, authenticity card, letter of authenticity outlining all players and Super Bowls and a DVD and photo print-out of each MVP signing the product.
