Lelands.com is beefing up its brick-and-mortar and online operations via a new facility on Cape Cod in South Dennis, Mass. The company had been headquartered in Seaford, N.Y. “Due to the great growth in the sports memorabilia hobby, and the expansion of Lelands into the vintage photo arena, this facility has been fully staffed and is set up for a more efficient processing and shipping of the thousands of pieces of consigned memorabilia items that flow through Lelands each and every month,” said Scott Gaynor, COO of Lelands.com.
The company has also begun operation of a new website. The main feature of the new site will be a searchable auction database that allows visitors to search for items and prices from every Lelands auction dating back to 2002. Customers will also be able to view new and past invoices, track receipt of payments, forecast shipping dates and track real-time bids and information for the items they are bidding on.
“This new website will allow us to continue to be the industry leader with regard to using technology to deliver the kind of information our buyers and consignors want and need when they want and need it,” said Joshua Evans, chairman and founder of Lelands.com.
Lelands.com is now headquartered at 12 American Way, Ste. 8, South Dennis, MA 02660; (508) 247-0890. It will maintain an office in Seaford to handle acquisitions and other consignments. For more information, visit www.lelands.com.
